Portfolio Camp June 27- 30

Students who need to catch up on their Student Portfolio (a graduation requirement), should attend Portfolio Camp which will take place from June 27-30. Students may sign up with Ms. Sheehan or Mrs. DeBlois in the cafeteria during all lunches beginning on June 13. There will be a charge of $7 per assessment. The dates for each subject area are as follows:

June 27 - Physics       June 28 - Physics         June 29 - Chemistry        June 30 - Chemistry

RIDE releases important graduation requirement update

The Rhode Island Department Department of Education has released important updates regarding graduation

 requirements for the the class of 2012 and beyond. Please check out the RIDE Office of Multiple Pathways website for letters that explain the efforts to coordinate the activities of the secondary, CTE, and adult education teams. 

Graduation Requirements Update

All current juniors who received a "1" on the NECAP RI State Assessments are required to show growth in these areas before graduating in their senior year. To this end, all juniors who received a "1" on the NECAP will be meet with Ms. Sheehan  who will explain the plan of action for students to show growth. Ms. Sheehan has been working on a data analysis plan where some juniors in this position will have to complete certain modules in Nova Net, a software computer program. Students will be provided an opportunity to show growth by completing  specific modules to an 80% proficiency. Every parent will be contacted when and if their child is in the position to complete

March 28: Juniors Careers Fair

The Spring College Fair for juniors is on March 28th.  Schedule:  

Session 1,  8:40 - 9:00:  Social Studies and Fine Arts
Session 2,  9:05 - 9:25:  ELA, Science, and Business
Session 3,  9:30 - 9:50:  Math, CTC and PE

March 31-April 1: The Wiz at EPHS

The Wiz will be performed in the EPHS auditorium on March 31 at 7:30 pm, and on April 1 at 2:30 & 7:30 pm.

April 5: SAT Testing & School Day Will End @ 12:45 pm

SAT TESTING for ALL JUNIORS will occur on April 5, 2017 and the SCHOOL DAY will END at 12:45pm.

All JUNIORS taking the SAT will report directly to their assigned testing rooms.

SAT Testing will begin as soon as the students arrive in that classroom. No test will begin after 7:45AM.

*All students will be dismissed at 12:45. BAG Lunches will be available for students.
